- How is Xavellus priced?
- Companies are priced per employee per month for the modules they switch on, plus a flat fee for administrative seats — the pricing page sets it out plainly. Schools and colleges are quoted per institution, scoped by student strength and the modules enabled, because a 300-student school should not pay like a 3,000-student one. Every price is fixed in writing before you commit and does not change mid-term.
- How long does it take to go live?
- Typically about four weeks from signature for a company configuration. Institutions vary with the amount of existing data to bring across, but onboarding always starts from your real structure — departments, programs, fee heads, assessment scheme — so the first thing you see is your own institution rather than a demo dataset.
- Can we keep using the software we already have?
- Often, yes. The integrations module provides REST APIs and webhooks, syncs with accounting and banking software, and connects biometric devices, so Xavellus can sit alongside a tool you are not ready to replace. In practice most institutions retire the spreadsheets first and consolidate the rest over time.
- Is our data separated from other institutions?
- Completely. Every institution runs in its own workspace at its own address, and tenant identity is checked on every request, so a user of one institution cannot reach another’s data. There is no shared list, screen, or report anywhere in the system.
- What happens to our data if we leave?
- It is yours. Most modules export to Excel or PDF at any time, and on termination your data is returned or deleted as your agreement sets out. There is no clause that holds records hostage at renewal.
- Do you support Urdu-medium and Marathi-medium schools?
- Yes. Medium of instruction is a per-school setting rather than a separate product. Urdu-medium schools get a right-to-left interface with Noto Nastaliq typography and Urdu labels on parent-facing screens; Marathi-medium schools get Marathi interface and parent communication. Every school runs the same system, so a feature we ship reaches all of them at once.
- Is there a mobile app for parents and staff?
- Yes — native Android and iOS apps with GPS attendance, offline mode, push notifications, and biometric login. Parents get attendance, results, fee dues and receipts, notices, and timetable on their phone, which is where they actually are.
- Who owns the data we put in?
- The institution does. We process it on your behalf to run and support the service — never to train anything, sell anything, or advertise. Under the DPDP Act 2023 you are the data fiduciary and we act as your processor.
- What about NAAC and accreditation reporting?
- Evidence is assembled as work happens rather than reconstructed the month before a visit. Attendance, assessment, research, and campus activity all feed the accreditation trail, so the report is a query rather than a scramble.
- Do you build custom software as well?
- Yes. Alongside the ERP we build custom CRM and business consoles for companies whose process does not fit off-the-shelf software — quotations, invoicing, exports, inventory, and approvals modelled on how the business already works.
